The main push CI for e494d6c (#44) failed on matching stays linear on long adversarial input. A single cold first call measured 53 ms against the 50 ms bound. The test passed on the PR runs, and a cold first call has measured up to about 115 ms locally.

The test now takes the best of 3 runs per input. Catastrophic backtracking is slow on every run, so it still fails on that, while one-off JIT or regex-compile time and runner noise no longer flake. The fix is test-only.
