Summary

Fixes agentboard ticket #52.

Replace the mobile 84vw override with one bounded min(300px, 84vw) basis, so empty and populated lanes have equal compact widths without desktop stretching.
Wrap long card project/assignee labels and column headers without clipping counts. Preserve horizontal scrolling and existing drag/drop.
Add real-frontend Chromium layout regressions at 320, 390, 640, 720, 721, 850, 1024 and 1920 CSS-pixel viewports plus drag/drop; run in PR CI.

Verification

Before-change 720px fixture fails: empty lane measured 604.797px (84vw); after: 300px with two full lanes visible.
npm run test:layout: 9/9 passed locally.
Existing Node frontend/icon tests: 6 passed locally; temporary-localhost API suite is refused by inherited secret-egress proxy (502), not a product assertion failure. CI runs complete Node and layout suites.
Peekaboo-first capture failed on exact-window attribution; Codex Computer Use unavailable in tool catalog. Screenshots on ticket are explicitly local Chromium fixture evidence, not live deployment proof.

Status / release handoff

Implementation PR only. Independent exact-head Astra/high review: no blocking findings (run 122efa2c-e6a9-4be7-8d9a-2a627d56a512). Live session_status confirms think high; Reasoning=off controls visibility only. CI green: https://github.com/backmeupplz/agentboard/actions/runs/37516481542. No merge, version release or MyGround deployment has been performed by this implementation phase. Release worker must follow existing release pipeline, deploy through MyGround preserving data/config/auth/mounts, and verify running version + served CSS.
