Summary

Ignore local/deployment env secret files via root .gitignore
Keep .env.example tracked and document local/deployment env handling

Validation

git check-ignore .env .env.production
git check-ignore .env.example returns non-zero
git ls-files | rg '(^|/).env|secret|key|credential' -> .env.example only
bun run check

Manual QA: not required; this is a git ignore and README-only repo hygiene change.
