F-Droid's reviewer asked for R8 on fdroiddata!53005.

Release build now runs R8 with isMinifyEnabled + isShrinkResources and the default optimize rules. androidx.webkit ships its own keep rules, and MainActivity uses no reflection or @JavascriptInterface, so no custom rules are needed.
No new Gradle artifacts (strict dependency verification unaffected).
Unsigned release APK: 3.25 MB → 358 KB.
Reproducible: two clean clones on macOS build byte-identical APKs (sha256 43d90ac0…); compared against a build in F-Droid's buildserver-trixie image too.
